The first-ever Solo Leveling game, Solo Leveling: Arise, has confirmed its global release date, with developers Netmarble ready to finally unveil the game to expectant fans worldwide next month.
Via a press release, Netmarble's Solo Leveling: Arise will be released less than a month from now on May 8 via mobile (App Store, Play Store) and PC (Mac, Windows) via Steam and Netmarble Launcher. Special game rewards for pre-registering are still available, with a confirmed 12 million users already signed up. Readers can check out the new commemorative official visual below.
The release continues: "Fans can secure a variety of limited-time rewards when the game officially debuts in early May, such as Legendary Artifact Sets, a Chic Black Suit Costume for Sung Jinwoo, two Mana Power Crystal for each attribute (10 total), and 100,000 of Gold. All players who sign up will be given the opportunity to win Jinwoo’s cherished partner/hunter as well, Yoo Jinho, as a pre-registration reward."
Solo Leveling: Arise Allows Gamers to Play in Time Attack, Hunter or Story Mode
Time's fast ticking down to the highly anticipated launch of Arise. Before its May release, the beta test release date as well as the Solo Leveling: Arise console release window were revealed. The game sports three modes: Time Attack Mode, with hunters supporting a playable Jin-woo as they "shatter various patterns of monsters through a combination of skills and support hunters"; Hunter Mode, allowing players to choose from characters Cha Hae-in, Lim Tae-gyu, Baek Yun-ho, Lee Joo-hee and Kim Chul, killing monsters within a set time; and Story Mode, which follows Jin-woo through content from the original webtoon.
Solo Leveling: Arise launches May 8, with the anime adaptation's second season also expected not before too long. Crunchyroll describes the latter: "They say whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not the case for the world’s weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo came back with the System, a program only he could see, that’s leveling him up in every way. Now, he’s inspired to discover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them."
